Shamy Iliza Rukokora
Shamy Illiza Rukokora is an international student from Kigali, Rwanda, currently in her fourth year at St. Thomas University, majoring in Criminology & Human Rights with a minor in Psychology. At the Social Enterprise Hub, Shamy plays an active role in connecting the Hub with the community. She contributes by designing posters, creating content for Instagram, updating news, maintaining the Hub’s website, and supporting community-focused research initiatives that prioritize social impact and inclusivity.
Her work reflects her passion for social impact, communication, and community engagement, combining her academic training, research experience, and practical skills to support the Hub’s mission of advancing social innovation and entrepreneurship. Shamy’s analytical mindset, collaborative approach, and commitment to equity and human dignity help amplify diverse voices and drive actionable strategies for positive community change.
